When I ran out for lunch I had to stop and fill up, of course with these prices for gas it made me unhappy. SO... I thought we could have a little fun with it, if you have a Gas Price joke or cartoon, POST IT! We all need a little comic relief when it comes to the over inflated prices! :righton:

I think we should all go out and buy bikes or get a horse and go back to the old days, hay is cheaper than gas by far!:p

All gas stations will have wide screen TV's showing porn movies so you can watch somebody get screwed the same time as you!!!
 
What hurts me more is that I actually had to buy gas for my lawnmower. I'm gonna look into buying a old school blades-on-a-cylinder type mower...or a goat.

I love those mowers, I used to use one at my grandmothers house. The world is too "sue" happy for those now. They have some sharp old blades on them! But they are a lot of fun to mow with!:righton:
 
yep i love my hemi. it'll pass everything but a gas station
 
Now is a great time to buy a s.u.v,hemi or any gas guzzler you want.

yeah, unfortunately it keeps going up...takes me $65 to fill up Infiniti (Daily Driver) with regular (17 gallons), and almost $80 for Acura (19gallons, premium fuel)...
Don't forget that a lot of politicians have a part of this oil pie...the higher the prices, the more income they have...

Gas is cheap in US? Have you seen the price of gas in Venezuela? That's the fair price for gas! 12 cents a gallon! Darn right! We all would be driving V12s!!! S600, here I come!:righton:
Government in Europe is insane! Price of oil in London costs cheaper then in New York, yet, the queen and others tax is so bad, and consumer is paying the difference. Notice that U.S. is bouying oil for the same price per barrel as other countries in Europe...So europeans have noone to blaim but their government, which makes a car be a luxury for their countries...A car is not a luxury, it is a transportation, so you can move from one place to another.
 
I was about to say we actually have it pretty good as far as prices go. When I was in Aus and NZ they were paying 3-4 dollars a gallon over 7 years ago. Of course that 12 cents a gallon really has me irked... I'll go find a funny joke now lol.
 
I've noticed that newer cars don't really imrpve gas milage...they don't want to. Previous Acura MDX was getting 17/23, newest one is getting 15/20. So what that it has a more powerful engine, gas milage needs to improve.
My Intiniti (99 I30t) is 21/28 (with factory specs, in reality I was getting 18-19 average, until I upgraded to K&N air filter, and started filling up only with Chevron, which gives a better gas milage, believe me, I tried it in 4 of my cars), and my mom's 02 I35 is 20/26.
