Another Clear Bra predicament

I have venture shield on my ivory pearl 2009 Nissan GTR including full bumper and full hood. It is true you will see a bit of yellowing under direct sunlight; however, I am the only one who seems to notice it. Everyone I've shown my car to did not see the clear bra until I showed them the lines. After 2 1/2 years I have 10k miles, 0 rock chips, and a couple of minor scuffs on the bra. At 3 years I will redo the entire bra and expect my car to look brand new.

I would recommend the full hood as the 18in bra will leave a line and the first time you get a rock chip above the bra you will wish you had the full hood.

That surface protection film roll looks very interesting! I might just have to try this.

So your 6 vehicles that you had 3M on, were they all part-way up the hood? or the full hood? If part-way, you were happy with the way it looked for all those years? How about your Toyota Sequioa? Part-way hood but still looked yellow? Edges visible?

all 6 were part way up the hood. No problem for me. If you do a sloppy detail you will have a visible line, else it requires a double take to notice the bra. Even on the white sequoia...although like I said in some lighting the bra had a yellow tint to it making it easier to see. The other 5 were greys, charcoals and black.

Thanks for the info man. Yeah am not sure if I could go full hood. I am really a perfect paint lover. I know they say u can buff or polish it like paint...but still. I think if i go hood, it will be the bikini cut:o

Yeah I am an avid detailer so the car not only never sees rain, but she gets detailed very well. So i think the line is probably ok or at least not visible...at least that's my hope
