i am gonna be doing my first full machine detail on my two cars..one is a black 95 mustang cobra with paint that is in good condition just some swirls and typical black paint stuff, the other is 10 vw passat which is mine and my wifes daily car, its paint is in good condition but does have some water spots and swirls also....besides the obvious two bucket wash and claying what should be my plan..the products i have are M105,M205, Swirl Remover 2.0, M7, M26, Wolfgangs Finishing Glaze and Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 and the polisher is PC 7424XP..any advice is greatly appreciated

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Test spot with M205 with polishing pad (check your results)
If you yield the results you al looking for then continue. If not, do a test spot with M105 and check your results
4. M105 (polishing pad)
5. M205 (polishing pad)
6. Wolfgang Sealant (finishing pad)

If you get the results you want with M205 the you can skip step 4
This will apply for both cars!

thanks..this may be a stupid question but if i end up having to use 105 do i use M205 after to really bring out the shine

No such thing as a stupid question. Yes you will want to use M205 after M105 If you really wanted to take an extra step you could follow M205 with M07 but thats not need and may not be worth it. Just an idea/option that you could do a test spot and see what you get. If you can tell or see a difference then no need to do it.:dblthumb2:
