Another McKees Coating

Got a call from a client and he wanted his wife’s new ride detailed as well as a ceramic coating applied. I done his 2500HD a couple months back and he loved the results. I started with a good wash. Meguiars ultimate wash was used on the paint. An APC was used for the tires and fender wells. Meguiars wheel cleaner was used on the wheels. After that, the paint was cleaned with a good clay mitt and Ironx. Sonax 04-06 was used to polish via the new Rupes Millie. A eraser by Carpro was used to clean the paint after the polish was layer down. Then came the coating. I applied 2 coats which came out perfect!!! I also used McKees plastic coating for the running boards and other plastic parts.

What made you decide to apply a 2nd coat? Nick has said before that their paint coating does not benefit from more than 1 coat.

I waited for about an hour. I only done a second coat on the hood and front bumper. I guess that I should have stated that.
