Hello everyone!
I am new to the forum, have been reading many threads for a long time and decided to join the conversation! I live in Herrin, Il right now, southern part of the state. I work in Marion currently. I finally did a legit detail on my 2012 Chevy Sonic the other day, and it came out amazing. Washed it, clayed it, and waxed three coats of Megs gold class plus carnuba paste wax. Did the wheels too. Car looks great and the paint feels perfectly smooth now. Good to have it clean after the long winter. I also did pretty much the same to my harley, claying the chrome makes a huge difference!

I'm also from Illinois and new to the forum, I have to say I ordered the porter cable 7424xp Wolfgang über compound and finishing glaze and some lake county hydro tech pads. I've been as particular as I could for years about keeping my car clean and since I received this and polished my car for the first time it transformed the paint. Definitely get it one more time before winter starts but until this I didn't realize what the weather had done to my car, huge difference.
 
Welcome from the Northwest side of the state. I am here in Sterling IL. That winter salt does a number on our cars. AutoGeek is the bomb. They get stuff shipped super fast. I get stuff faster from them, then I do the suburbs of Chicago. Go figure.
