Hello all, from northern MN! Up until about a yr ago, I've never really had a vehicle that i really cared about keeping clean. We now have an 07 black chevy trailblazer, & a 2011 GMC pickup that I have really taking a liking to keeping nice. My arsenal is small so far, but am in the market for a polisher. Ive taken a heavy liking to the Flex 3401 beacuse it seems to be the "do all" in polishers. I really like the overall look... seems to be a well built machine. Is this too much of a machin e for a newbie though? If anybody has any tips, tricks, or suggestion, please feel free to advise! My supply list so far is as follows, gold class & ult wash, ult comp & polish, mothers clay kit, & collinite 845. I'm all ears as far as what i need for int cleaning, dressings etc, as well as everything in between. If anybody wants to take the time to go through this, feel free. I would absolutely love to attend the Mike Phillips detailing boot camp, but I'm a few miles away.

Detailing arsenals tend to be lean in the beginning but soon blossom into something much larger once you start adding products to try...

The Flex 3401 is not to much machine for anyone in my opinion especially for someone wanting a quality machine that won't let you down...:props:

Welcome, I see your from the iron country.

I'm one of those strange folks that come to your town (well actually Gilbert) to drive through the woods.

I hope you learn from this site like I have.

Welcome to AGO!

Where are you located in northern MN? I grew up on the Iron Range and still have family in Chisholm, Babbitt and a few others nearby cities. :welcome:

I ride sled all over the Iron Range (when there is snow ).

Ever been to Tuna's or Gladiators? :D

We actually stopped in at Gladiators for my Bachelor party. It was actually a surprise on my part as we were heading up to Birch Lake for camping/fishing all weekend. It wasn't pretty and I still have nightmares! :D

EDIT: I think they are both closed now....

Been to each place 1 time & that was enough for me! For the record, I believe Tuna's is still open. Lol

I hear you on that one! Tuna's is just a wrong name for a club like that too!

I don't get up that way as much as I used to and I really miss it. I do make it up to Birch Lake every year for Labor Day though. We have a big family get together every year. :xyxthumbs:

You play hockey by any chance?

Welcome to Autogeek Online! :welcome:

For my last class I had a guy drive to Stuart, Florida from Texas!

:xyxthumbs:

I just punched in Stuart florida into mapquest. You are 1,784.7 miles away! How about you come to MN to teach people how to protect their vehicles from the harsh winters we've been known to have! Road salt, freezing temps, extended times between washes, etc. A true test to see how products protect & last during a harsh climate!
