Hey all...

Joined to read up about detailing my (new to me) black 02 911. Had a string of leased cars before and this was never an issue

Wanted to be educated before letting to local detail guy handle my car. His method of wash-clay-wax seemed good until I realized that the car has lots of swirls and he isnt going to do anything to address that.

Local detailers in/around NYC - feel free to give me a shout!

Was about to order the zaino kit but then I heard that the z5 they say will work on swirls isnt well regarded for that purpose.

Now Im thinking of buying a PC 7424 with some pads and going with meg105/205 ( or a menz combo.... not sure yet... and reading up on it.)

Im not looking to turn it into a show car... just revive the paint a bit. I plan to drive it and possibly track it.
