We have a local, full service car wash here in town. I know the Manager pretty well, so I often go up there to hang out. Some of the stories I hear are funny. Like when they run it through the tunnel and forget to roll up on of the windows. Or they run it through the tunnel with a guy in the car to clean glass while it is being washed. Then he thinks the wash is done and opens the door, only to have the brushes come back his way or have water blast him/in the car.
Talk about a way to get yourself killed.
Speaking of that...

""Carwash employee dies at Goo Goo wash
A full-time carwash employee died after becoming entangled in the automatic brushes of a franchised Goo Goo Express Wash in Wyoming, MI.
Ricardo Martinez was closing the carwash when a customer returned to have his vehicle washed again. After the vehicle entered the carwash, Martinez went inside to clean the tunnel and became entangled in its automatic brush.
A customer found his body in the carwash. It appeared there were no other employees working at the express wash at the time of his death.
Police reviewed surveillance tape to rule out foul play. The case has been ruled an “industrial accident” and turned over to the state’s OSHA office.
Martinez graduated high school earlier this year. He had been employed at the Goo Goo wash since March and was a full-time employee trained in the wash’s safety policy.
Goo-Goo Car Wash has 35 franchises, many of which are express exteriors, across the country.""
