ANTI STATIC QDer's......

I really like 921 and other QDs, but as for having anti-static properties, I haven't seen any on DG 921.

It works great, as do Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz and the Pinnacle Mist, but the static is largely unaffected.

I really wish AG would pik up the Finish Kare line.

Z-6 is an anti-static QD, thats the only one I have used so far. I am getting a gallon of FK425 soon though.

While Z6 has a nice UV protectant and some great optical qualities, I have never noticed any anti-static ability. Other than 425, I have not noticed a big difference in any qd'er.

Chemical Guys has one that's antistatic too. Works pretty good .

This is what I have, I have a gallon of it and is currently my go to QD. However, I have a sample of the FK and if I like it I may switch to it.

Yea I havent eather. But, thats what it say on the bottle! haha...
I cant wait to try FK425, hopefully it will arrive in the mail anytime now...

CG Synthetic Detailer and Pro-Detailer Carnauba are the most anti static QD's that I have, more than FK 425 IMHO. I also have CG Wet Shine Detailer and is as anti static as the others from CG.

FK425 is what I've been using for quite a while now, and see no reason to switch to anything else. Easy to apply/remove, slick shine, anti-static.

On another note, I tend to think of an anti-static QD as a QD that does not attract dust, rather than one that actually repels it. I haven't noticed an actual repelling of dust, but rather a non-attraction of dust. Dust will certainly accumulate on the hood of my car, it just doesn't seem to stick as well due to there being no static charge for it to adhere to. That's my crazy theory about anti-static QD's.

Given that, FK425 excels.

Finish Kare is the only one I have used (haven't tried any others as this one worked so well)

However I will try CG's if only for the Marketing Hype (Blurring the distinction between science and fiction) - "Chemical Guys Extreme Slick Synthetic Quick Detailer the slickest lubricant and detailer available, and we have no reason to lie. The wet look comes from a polymer resin based fluid combined with acrylic wetting agents and lubricants. The anti static formula will reduce static charge and will help get rid of those annoying fingerprints and smudges."

A polymer resin based fluid combined with acrylic wetting agents (their emphasis not mine) and lubricants.I know there is such a thing as “writers license” but this is classic, I love it

haha.......I thought it was a little "over the top" as well. Heck, half the time they misspell the words on their site. It's a decent qd, but I haven't compared it to FK425 side by side. FK is hard to beat in this category.

what is FK425..could not find it on the list of abreviated products.

javascript:changeImg('imgmainimg0',imgmainimg0large,document.getElementById('imgplaceholder'));Remove oil, film, algae, soil and water lines while restoring gloss and slickness in less than 5 minutes!

Use Duragloss Marine & RV Detail Spray #521 between washes to quickly and easily clean and shine without scratching. Duragloss Marine & RV Quik Detailer is designed to remove surface contaminants, restore gloss and slickness and leaves a protective barrier that bonds with durable waxes and sealants to enhance shine and durability. As an added benefit, this anti-static formula retards future dust and water line attraction, making future cleaning easier.

When exposed to the elements, boat and RV finishes are under constant attack and need routine cleaning to maintain their beautiful appearance. Contaminants such as bird droppings, salt spray, acid rain, mineral deposits, oil, fuel and road grime are common enemies that need to be removed quickly before they have a chance to cause stains, etching and a dull appearance. The secret to easy maintenance and removal of these contaminants is quick detailing. Quick detailing describes a process where you clean and restore shine in just a few minutes.

Duragloss Marine & RV Detail Spray #521 is a high lubricity quick detailer that loosens contamination on the surface, including stubborn algae, so it wipes away effortlessly and without scratching. Since algae can discolor surfaces, it is important to remove it quickly. Duragloss Marine & RV Quik Detailer #521 not only removes fresh algae; it removes the water line on the hull. This is a high performance quick detailer for ruggedly used recreational vehicles and boats.

Spray a 2’x 2’ area with Duragloss Marine & RV Quik Detailer #521 and wipe with a Cobra Microfiber Towel until dry. Use Marine & RV Detailer as often as necessary to retain that showroom look between washes. Use after waxing and polishing for even more depth, gloss, and slickness.

Over the life of your boat or RV, regular use of Duragloss Marine & RV Quik Detailer #521 and regular applications of a durable wax will keep gelcoated surfaces looking newer longer.

22 oz. trigger spray
I haven't tried side by side with FK.
