Has anyone found a QD, or anyting else, that keeps the dust off. My black Avalon looks terrific (like ink this morning) but seems to be a dust magnet (I used WDGPS, LS, Wolf Instant Detail Spritz or Pinn Souveran Spraywax).

I wash weekly (DG 901) and QD every other day using a variet of qders.

Maybee it's just a fact off life. But if you know something I'd love to hear.
Feed back please GD.

A good anti-static QD from the reveiws I've read is from Finish Kare. When you Shop Online click on Professional, scroll down to Express Detail part #425. If you do a search on here and autopia you'll see FK#425 it's always praised for it's anti static formula.

im wondering the exact same thing having a black car you can see the dust right away

No known cure.

BTW my car color is Super Black.

Super Black? Damn.

Can't quite tell though, Mike. Is your car also your avatar?

And it's a, what?

:D gd

Yes it is. Its a '05 Nissan Altima. The reason it looks kinda blue in the front is because of the reflection from the sky.

FK1 425 is what I too heard about so I purchased a gallon few days ago. I have a black car that I had in mind when purchasing that so we will know as soon as I receive the shipment.

sealants in general will capture or appear to hold less dust ... as the oils in waxes seem to capture them and hold on surface. Fk425 does have some anti-static ability but on black cars it is not significant enough. I find a good duster is also needed and likely 2 washes weekly.

CG Synthetic Detailer supposed to repel dust, thats my go to QD but I havent seen the difference in dust repelling compared to a regular QD...

Just switched, on a temporary basis, from FMJ to P21S. The FMJ seemed to be self cleaning while the P21S is a dust magnet. I think it's just the difference between sealant and carnuba.
