:nomore:What was your dry time for that coat? I would think you would get a lot of high spots if you do one single heavy coat- not all gets absorbed.
I recently did a scratch removal on a black Altima's bumper. Once i polished off a majority of it there were still some scratches that you could see. After 2 coats of CQUK in that area the scratches were all gone.
It was over 80F so we were buffing off high spots within 30 seconds on a 2'x2' section
The roof had been compounded, but there were still RIDS and some swirls left prior to coating and they remain under the coating now
Keeping a black daily driver up to AGO standards is tough. I will live with light swirls on the roof of my SUV.
However, I will NOT tolerate Orange Peel!!!!!!
