Watched that one this morning! Very similar setup to mine. I'm jealous of that color though :D

Sounds like this through all 4 mufflers

Open headers, but cutouts open after the bullets muffs isn't far off

Its down to a short block right now due to some lifters going bad, but it will have ported heads this coming week. New numbers to come.

There is some really cool detroit muscle on this thread, but this caddy is so cool! Extra points when you post a video with sound. Absolutely wicked!

Why meth for the truck?

Because MOAR POWWAAA!

Lots of good reasons. Direct injection engines are notorious for excessive carbon buildup on the valves. Meth/water injections steam cleans them. I plan to keep this truck a looooooong time.

Methanol injection gives an octane boost.

Methanol injection substantially lowers intake temps, allowing much more aggressive timing while seeing virtually no spark knock.

And spark knock on an ecoboost equals a vent in the block mod.

Are the EcoBoost engines designed to run on E85?

F-350 plow truck. I pulled the 7.3 powerstroke diesel and swapped a 12v Cummins diesel in place. The Cummins has custom cam with flycut pistons to clear the cam. Head is o-ringed with headstuds, double valve springs, stainless exhaust manifold, custom billet wheeled compound turbos. And a bunch of supporting mods in the fueling department as well as all billet shafts in transmission and a billet cover torque convertor and billet flex plate.

UM...a carburetor. It`s a naturally aspirated contraption with four holes on the bottom that sits on top of an aluminum manifold. You young guys may have to Google it for it`s meaning and use.

No sir. My 87 f250 has an Edelbrock 650.

But it's nowhere near the 350 hp of my 164 cubic inch v6 and certainly doesn't get 22 mpg. Lol

2014 GTI

My first performance mod will be on Monday. I'm upgrading the lose nut between the seat and steering wheel by going to a HPDE. The car has far more performance than I could ever safely explore on public roads, so I'll take it to the track and learn some proper car control.

As OEM parts wear out, I'll upgrade starting with tires and brakes.

My only other mod was disabling the fake engine noise maker attached to the firewall.

Fake engine noise is STOOPID! Ford has v8 rumble playing through speakers in some of the higher trim ecoboosts. Fortunately, I have an xlt.

Cam specs? Head specs?

Actually looking forward to re-installing my piggy-back tune on my car tomorrow. I had it sent to my wife's work and it was delivered this past Friday but the problem was she didn't have to work that day, so I have to wait till tomorrow evening to install it, oh well, I've waited almost 3 weeks already as it is, LOL! Looking forward to the additional pull its supposed to have in 3rd and 4th gear:hotrod2:

Depends on what you mean by performance mods. 2016 Mustang GT with the performance package. The PP includes a lot that affects handling and braking which, in my mind, are the essence of performance. Haven't done anything to the engine but take care of it. I added a Blowfish Racing rear shifter mount which improves shifting quite a bit, Steeda camber plates so that I can set up the front end for track use, competition brake pads and fluid, full synthetic tranny and diff fluid, 5 point belts, a towing ring at the front and tires, tires and more tires!

More will come as the need becomes apparent....
