Any problem with leaving clay on over night like this

why not use some painters tape...

It'll probably be a PITA to get off completely due to the lubrication drying out.. Use tape.

Thing is there's touch up paint drying around it, didn't think I could get tape in there securely without it grabbing some when I take it off tomorrow

Humidity is 60+ btw

I would think you should be fine. If all else fails a hair dryer to slightly warm it will work.
