so would a gray finishing pad be ok or would you go with a softer blue pad?

According to The Edge, use the softest pad in your product line. So for the LC pads, it's the Blue Finessing Pad. I only have the Grey Finishing Pad, but Justin was saying it's okay to give that a try too.
