Any way to protect the car "badges" ?

I was wondering if there was a way to protect car badges, emblems from getting tarnished from the sun etc? I see some badges that get faded and start to peel etc from the suns rays, anything we can put over them ( wax, QD etc? ) to help protect them.

I imagine any of the popular sealants could be applied to those as well, I use BFWD and when I do my car I just be sure to try and get every nook and cranny in/around badges/emblems and am just as sure to wipe the residue completely once it's cured. Could be something better, but that's my 2 cents.
