Any word on the new Optimum "No Rinse Wash & Wax"

For example if it is the ease of use, the spray wax takes very little time to apply and probably much better durability. Then, since it is more expensive ONR is (35-40 a gallon) and ONRWW is $50, what would be the point in using it for weekly washes when it is unnecessary to apply wax every week/routinely after each wash. Or would it be something to use in addition to having ONR? For example using ONR for weekly washes, and then when it is time to get a layer of wax after a few months or so, do a ONR wash & wax to the car.

The wax in ONRWW would act as a booster to an already applied LSP since the LSP will slowly degrade after you apply it. OCW isnt cheap but the durability is excellent from my experience and lets say you wash your car weekly with ONR, then applying OCW every week is not only a waste of money but an overkill in protection since you can easily get a months worth of protection out of OCW.

However, if you washed your car every week with ONRWW and had no LSP on your paint, I would assume that the wax/polymers in ONRWW would be enough to protect your car without ever having to wax it.

Bottom line is that neither ONRWW, and to some degree OCW, will replace any wax or sealant. ONR doesnt strip wax so you would be fine with maintaining the car exclusively with regular ONR and waxing at regular intervals. ONRWW would just extend that interval to a longer period before another coat of wax is needed.

I don't see why anybody would apply OCW weekly as it is durable and I got a gallon for $40. My question was more in line with, what's the point of ONRWW if you protect your car with a LSP like a wax (OCW) and/or sealant (Opti-seal). If you use OCW and use/have ONR, why get ONRWW since ONR is less expensive and OCW you only need to use it once every several months and is fast to apply.

I guess that would make sense where the product would be useful, (if you don't use any LSP products and just use ONRWW as protection). However if you do use anything such as a sealant or wax I would find ONRWW a waste of money.

I know ONR doesn't strip wax. I just don't get what's the point of paying for a more expensive product in ONRWW, rather then just to spend less money on ONR and use a ONR + OCW /or Opti-seal combo (when needed, that you use very little; for ex. opti seal can give you up to 40 applications with just one bottle). That combo seems way more cost effective then using ONRWW as a weekly wash.

It's the cost of time, man, time is money, as they say. If you've got plenty of time, then it doesn't matter to you the time you'd save by not having to do a separate LSP step, or having to do it less often.

IMO a rinseless w/ added protection is just a quick little boost to the protection you already have. I guess if you really wanted to know you could strip your car down and only use the product itself.

For an added boost I read a thread some time back where they said to add 1 oz of Klasse SG to a gallon of rinseless made up as QD and have been using it ever since. Once my ONR is used up I'll be getting the DG rinseless and doing the same thing, even though its got AW already in it, I'll be adding KSG into that as well.

I'm sure that noone is here suggesting to use the new ONR as a stand alone but it would be good to know what your actually getting in there for protection.

NRWW is awesome...
Smells so good that i just want to keep spraying lol.
But it cleans good, and leave the paint slick.
Not to mention it made my hands more smooth after just holding the towel lol

I just bought 8 oz. bottles of V3 and ONRWW. I'm currently using DG rinseless with Autowax in it,and UWW also. I've used AW and OCW with both products with great results also.

DG with AW and UWW are both awesome products, and I can't wait to see how both ONR prouducts stack up to them.

I've become a huge fan of rinseless washing. I haven't used a hose since sometime last Summer!

I tried the new Pinnacle rinseless wash with carnauba this weekend and was very very impressed. It's hard to imagine a rinseless product could be so easy to use and give such a stunning rich just-waxed looked in one step.

With the 20% off discount and free shipping on order over $150 I couldn't help but decide to buy a gallon although I'm fully stocked with ONR. I figure its place in my arsenal would be in winter occasionally, but more specifically when I could use another coat of protection before heavy snow is in the forecast and therefore salt to come along with it. The optimum spray wax says to avoid below 55 degrees, so ONRWW is an easy way to get an extra coat of wax to protect beforehand.

just wanted to share the holidays have been good to me lol $100 gift certificate from the girlfriend + 20% off and free shipping + match will be $23.33 total. Will be trying ONRWW soon!

Was able to finally try this out today. It was about 35 degrees out and it worked great. Absolutely no streaking. The smell is also nice :)

I used the leftover water in my buckets to clean the garage floor from all the salt and sand from the recent blizzard
