I have 3 canopies, all made by Shade-Tech, (I think the models are Quik Shade) similar to EZ Up but less expensive. I needed help putting it up in the beginning, then I sprayed the legs with silicone spray and can now set them up by myself easily.
Some of the 10x10's have slanted legs, those will only give you a 9x9 canopy. Apparently, they measure by where the legs land. My 2 10x10's are like that, giving only 81 sq. ft. of canopy. I had to use 2 of those for good coverage on a car, but the legs got in the way of the car door opening.
I picked up a 12 x 12 at Home Depot for $40.00 (121 sq ft) and that seems to work much better. I lucked out on the $40.00, had a yellow price sticker on it, apparently it was sitting on the shelf for a long time so they drastically reduced the price.
If a car I'm working on is very long, I put up the 12 x 12 and a 10 x 10.
All can be put up by myself after the aforesaid silicone spray on the legs.
If I recall correctly, I got the 10x10s at Harbor Freight, on sale for $79.00 each, minus a 20% off coupon.
