My word! You did amazing but wow was that thing TRASHED!
 
Wow, nice save. Cant imagine what the owner was thinking will all the popcorn, maybe a drive in movie ?

Thanks. She just picked it up and her first words when I opened up the door were "Oh ####!" lol

That would be the only thing that could possibly make sense.
 
I can't say I've seen many cars that bad but when they are this is when they have it done. The before and after photos are really incredible and the only way I can describe this is "rags to riches".....

+10 amazing job. I would have charged extra due to the condition so your a better man than I. I only do this part time so I expect some level of courtesy. Not picking up the trash is just plain rude. If you only charged them $150 it's a 50% discount in my book. I really thought the carpet was gone from the before pics.

Please share what your process was for this miracle especially the interior.

PS: Next I was expecting you to say you baby sat the kids during the detail!
 
Under 6 hours!? You are a beast! That would have definitely taken me a lot longer. At least one hour just getting into a bio-suit to tackle the inside.

You did one heck of a job! But I have to say, people like that really discusses me! I mean have a little self respect for your property, there is no sense in your vehicle going to that level, it makes you wonder what their house looks like.

The exterior was washed with CG Citrus Wash and Gloss to strip the paint, engine bay, wheels and wheel wells were cleaned with Megs Super Degreaser, rims were cleaned with WG Uber Wheel Cleaner. I used Menz PL for my LSP and Adams SVRT for the tire dressing and engine bay. Adams Invisible Undercarriage Spray for the wheel wells. Megs Glass Cleaner on the inside and Pinnacle Crystal Glass Cleaner. Final wipe down was with Adams Detail Spray.

The interior was first swept out to get a majority of the food and dirt. Normally I sweep last but this situation called for a little switch. After I get most of the crap out I cleaned the panels and dash with Megs APC+ 10:1 and various brushes. For the carpets I first hit them heavily with CG Fabric Clean. I agitated that with a carpet brush then took my Bissell Auto Cleaner with just hot water and soaked them pretty good. I agitated again and extracted. Repeated again to make sure there wasn't any chemicals left. I gave them a good wipe down with a utility towel to get as much dirt out as possible. Same steps were repeated with the carpets. For the seats I sprayed the Fabric Clean into a towel and gave them a good wipe down. Spots were sprayed then agitated.

I think that is all lol

Thanks and I know what you mean. They were an hour late picking it up on top of that so its pretty apparent they have little respect for anyone or anything.

I like challenges and all, but GOOD LORD. :rolleyes: Based on the 'before' photos I bet inside a month it'll be darned near the same again. And THAT is why I'd not even done it to begin with. (At least for nowhere near what you charged for it.) The interior ALONE should have been $150, so you could go buy new antibiotics. ;)

Thanks. The good thing is I'll have a repeat customer lol. I made the mistake of not telling her ahead of time that excessive filth would mean I would charge her more. Lesson learned.

With me being a GP guy myself it was really sad. The car is beat to absolute hell with dents and scratches all over the place.
 
Excellent work, that is filthy discusting. I would have showered too after that using and grill brush making sure I get all the crud off me. Amazing how someone can let it get that bad...
