Anybody tried Wheel Wax?

I love the smell....pina colada!!!
I'm sure the sealant I use on the paint would last longer on the wheels. But I retreat the chrome wheels monthly like the paint and it's still beading water like the paint at that point...so I look forward to the great smell monthly!

I like the PB's wheel sealant. But you can also use any sealant like upp, exp etc..

Having used all three back to back, it appears to me personally that the DP Wheel Glaze lasts the longest and quite easy to apply and remove. Its purple charm in a canister. PB would rate a very close second, never found Wheel Wax to last longer than one wash.

Wheel Wax

I have used it once and it has been on for a week now. Seems to be fine but I haven't accumulated alot of brake dust yet but it sure does smell good.:D

The problem with the poorboy's is that it tends to warm the glossy shine after you polish Aluminum rims. but the durability is Superb.

Good product but DP Wheel Glaze is much more durable followed by PB sealant as a second alternative.

I like DP Wheel Glaze much better and that grape smell is killer.

I dunno.... I wasn't overly thrilled with DP Wheel Glaze. I tested it on my driver side and those two wheels accumulated significantly more dust than the p***enger side. The driver side was also more difficult to clean than the p***enger side (not that cleaning wheels is overly difficult anyway). I'll just stick to UPP on my wheels. It seems to do the job better than Wheel Wax or DP Wheel Glaze on my car.

I've never tried Wheel Wax or DP Wheel Glaze, but I have PB Wheel Sealant and I'm not thrilled...the slickness isn't what I expected. I love any sealant (DP Spray Surface Shield in particular--it's quick) topped with Collinite.

I've been using Turtle wax for my wheels, don't know if it 'strong' enough to stay on though.....

Do you prep the wheels for Upp? I have Upp, but I use AIO and SG on mine.

Klasse All In One works best on wheels for me.

Add me as another fan of Klasse AIO for wheels. I treat with at least 3 coats, and then forget about them for about 6 months and that's in Wisconsin, with lots of salt, snow, ice, and sand. It's all about durability and cleanability.:D

My detailing shelf is so full of products that I have a hard time keeping up with the collection (and the wife thinks I'm just nuts).

I bought DP wheel glaze at the end of the summer, now it has mold all over
the top of it. Before the mold set in i thought it did a very good job. It is left
in the basement which is climate controled with the rest of the house. I might
have to try PB now.

Please call Jason in the morning, something is just not right, and surely we will repair. Somehow water must have gotten into it ... unless the ingredients came apart and air somehow helped bacteria breed. (you can tell I am NO scientist)
