Anybody using Square to take credit cards?

I use it when after I detail a vehicle and the client says, "I have to run to the ATM"...lol, Then I tell them no need and pull out my Dell Streak along with the Card Reader.....
 
A CoWorker of mine uses it when he sells his home grown produce at the farmers market. Says its amazing and makes him dealing with customers so much easier/better since most of the time the "high end" customers don't carry cash at times.
 
We have been using Square since January and it has increased our business tremendously, plus I rather take that over a check that you find out days later will not clear.Square after 2 months of service sent us a box of 50 swipers to pass out.We have the things everywhere.In the house,car,truck,cashbox some of our part time help have them they are great!!!!!
 
I have been on it for a month and love it!!! no BS, just a % of the sale. I use my Iphone and just today, a lady called to purchase a gift certificate for someone and I put her on speaker while pulled up my square application. I ran her card info and emailed her the receipt. It took 5 minutes to make a $200 sale. sweet!

I did all that from on top of an RV....

anyone need a cellular credit card processing machine, just PM me.....
 
Just signed up. Super easy. Took maybe 15 minutes (and that included scanning the User Agreement).
 
I was unlucky enough to have been rejected by square. I have heard that it is quite common to have some sort of mess-up and they will reject your ability to use their service.

I was told to just reapply with a different e-mail address. It worked!

Sadly though, I broke my iphone yesterday. :cry: Looks like it will be a while before I can take Credit Cards after all.:mad:
