I'm not a big computer guy but for some reason when I go to my control panel and then my internet options to change the website for my homepage it keeps defaulting back to facebook when I want it to b e A.G.O., anyone know how to fix that? Thanx.

If your using FireFox (you better) just highlight the address and drag it over the home button and release the mouse.

not using firefox and when i hit apply and close the box and go back to internet options it still defaults back to facebook, wont let me change it

Here is the way Iwould set it up. Open the website for AutoGeek. Then click tools on the tool bar. Then click Internet options. Under the General tab and the home page section click the box marked Use Current. Click apply at bottom of window.

Good luck

Sounds like you have malware....have any antivirus?

If after applying the settings for a different home page under internet options, it resets, you've got something not right on your system. May want to try an online AV scan. Bitdefender's online scanner is pretty good. Free Online Virus Scan | BitDefender Online Scanner

Also, is this a new occurance? which version of windows? is windows up to date?

Yea run for spyware or hijackthis, the odd thing is normally that would go to some phishing site or spam site, not facebook.

Personally I'm gonna say don't use Firefox, the new 3.5.3 version is absolutley horrible always crashing, error messages, flash trouble, and slooooooooooow. And I've used Firefox since it came out years ago. Check online on the massive number of complaints now with FF issues. If anything download the old 2.0 Firefox, not the new crap.
