Honestly I've only tried rainex/windex thinking it was a smudge. It looks fine when wet but after it dries it turns ashy white again

Its been kinda bothering me for a while but I can't seem to put a dent in it. Could it possibly be etched plastic? And if so how do I take care of it?

Pick up a bottle of Meguiar's PlastX and and a microfiber towel. With a little patience you should be able to polish that out. Good luck! :xyxthumbs:

Id try that first, and if that doesnt work Ive had good luck with megs 205 on plastic as well.

I got most of it. (also cracked the plastic a little due to elbow grease) But I guess Ill use a q-tip. Thanks for the advice

If you can take it out-take it out. If you want it perfect it will save time in the long run. It's a tight spot and i dont know you can get the pressure evenly distributed the way I will need to be to get a good finish.

I finally used good old Brasso on the radio. Where the time and freq is displayed.
Someone on this forum recommended it. Tried it and it worked.
