Anyone else getting excited for the 2016 F1 season?

And who do you think is more pissed off this afternoon...Daniel Kyvat or the 1200 employess at Mercedes AMG Petronas back in Brackley?
 
Would have loved to hear audio of that meeting in the AMG trailer right after they hauled Rossburd and Lewis in there. We never truly know what either of them were thinking just before the crash, but I think it was a bad decision to attempt the overtake there. If Rossburg saw it happening, he didn't go an inch out of his way to avoid the contact. These two have appeared to be less contentious with each other in interviews this year, but today makes me think the interviews are all for show, they were not acting like teammates today.

Good comment above about how bitter Kvyat must be today. It's all on him though. If he hadn't crashed Vettel twice this year and been such an ass about it, he might still be with the first stringers.

I have to agree. Both were WAY off the line for that turn and it was simply a spat between two children at that point. I'm surprised we didn't see a mushroom cloud over the Mercedes team area after the team principle hauled them into his office. A shot at a perfect season for the manufacturer flushed right down the toilet.

Had they not made contact in that turn, I don't think either would have been in the lead after they exited. Both drivers were so low going in they would have swung wide going out which would then leave a huge opening for the Red Bull and Ferrari's to pass them on the inside since they would most likely be carrying more speed at that point from taking the better line.
