I think I might stop by Lowes on the way home from work today and see if they have any Werner Platform Ladders in stock.

I used the abrasive tape stuff on mine because I am a clutz and know I would bust my butt if I did not do something to give myself a little more traction.

nice grabs guys, i dont do black friday, and porschepilot is my idol on the site, #1 he has a porshe(ive always loved a porsche) and #2 hes a pilot i love flying, and wish i had the money for flight school, getting my pilots licence is #2 on my bucket list, #1 is running a successful
detailing business.
 
The only thing I grabbed was a stanley 5 wat led spotlight that was 50% off. The lowes near me was not anymore crowded than usual.
 
Went to Lowe's early but not early enough. Some paint & wallpaper contractors got in at the opening bell, one took the entire pallet of work platforms and the rest cleaned 'em out of the $19 stepladders. There oughta be a law...

Another thing that'll save your bacon... pick up some 1 & 2" velcro and stick the soft loop side to the surfaces on the side of the platform that faces the car. Won't have to worry about getting too close and scratching something. Don't ask how I know this. :doh:

TL... where are you from? I am originally from the Warren area (well a little north of Warren but I am sure you haven't heard of it)
 
order the stuff you need online, ship to store free shipping and sometime syou can find a %off coupon or $ off $25,$50,$75,$100 orders, its what i do at autoparts stores for more pricey parts(batteries mainly) usualy get a good battery at around 65-75$ vs 100+$....good luck guys!

The platform doesn't have free shipping to the store. I just checked. My store was out when I stopped by

I went earlier today. Placed my order online last night and picked it up at the store around 11am. Got the Werner platform for $19.99 and the Skil 10" table saw for $69.99, used my Lowes credit card and got an additional 5% off.

West of the causeway about 12 miles, hang a left on 534 and you're in the neighborhood. I'm right down the road from the former Mike Tyson manor. (It's for sale if you've got a coupla mil laying around!)

lol you were one of "those guys" lol I was looking through the window before it opened and seen the workers picking orders for the online orders. I was like, oh crap.... they're gonna sell out.. But they had plenty left lol
