I have just lost all interest in the NFL the past few years.

Any helmet contact draws a flag, so target knees.

A concussion (While not a good thing at all) is recoverable. A catastrophic leg injury can instantly end a career.

God and baby Jesus forbid if you lay a finger on a QB or touch a WR in the wrong way. (Reggie White is rolling over in his grave).

Finally, a 9pm start time for two EAST coast teams??

Add this all together, and the NFL can take a back seat to just about anything else in my life.

JMO.........

I find hockey is a lot more exciting compared to football myself.

The politics is what got me.

Oh, and we cancelled our cable. If it isn’t on DVD, Netflix or Prime. I cannot watch it. No antenna either.

I'm done with the NFL, and won't be buying any Nikes either. Anyone who won't stand for our country, can bend down and kiss my ass!

I'm with you Paul. I'll watch the Super Bowl in February. That's enough for me

The late start time kills it for me. I like my football on Sunday as God intended.

Kaepernick sues the NFL, and signs with Nike who sponsors the NFL. Uhhhhhh........... What??

Yep, the 9PM EST start tonight for the opening game...what morons. All those east coast kids missing it and their families tuning out before it even starts.

It’s Ice Hockey for me . But I am biased ( I still play men,s beer league ice hockey even though turning 60 next year. It’s fun playing on a team where most of the players are between 18 n 40 , keeps me on my toes, but boy that ice is slippery)

These. Kaep. was a 2nd string average ball player on a year to year contract for a reason. Have no issue with him trying to make a stand for something he believes in but do it on his own time and in respectful manner. Just my opinion.

I'm sick of the politics and rule changes. I'm watching to be entertained not to have someone else's political views shoved down my throat. I agree it's going the way of Nascar.

Well said. There's no more NFL in my house. Up until last season, I'd been an Eagles fan my whole life. I didn't watch the Super Bowl, nor will I ever watch another game. There's plenty of college football on TV. You won't catch me supporting a bunch of disrespectful, overpaid 'social justice warriors' who do nothing to help the cause(s) they claim to be advocating for.

Nike products are done, too. Any company who is stupid enough to marginalize themselves by aligning with a pathetic, insignificant miscreant like Kaepernick deserves to have their stock plummet for doing so.

This fine young lad certainly has capitalized on being benched/released. Protests the 'system' yet can't be troubled to vote in hopes of changing that system, aligns himself with a company with a history of oppressing its foreign workers. What a tool.

As for the NFL, I live in Cleveland...we've been sick of our version of the NFL for quite a while now. 28 starting QB's since 1999???

Detroit Lions.

Nuff said.

I'll be watching some 80's professional wrasslin.

Yep, when the NFL allowed players to protest by disrespecting the entire nation, the end.
