I just finished these labels tonight.

What I did was I used the 205 bottles (you can see that it has a glimmer to it due to different material) I just scanned that bottle at 600 DPI while rolling it across the bar that scans. Then I went in to Photoshop and edited the pictures to 105 and 7 glaze.

I also did the same thing to the Menzera, but I had to make it smaller since I put it on the Autogeek bottles which are 12 oz and not 16oz. For the NXT Tech Wax 2.0 I just got a picture and blew it up and thankfully the resolution wasn't too messed up.

Then, I just got some Avery sheets that were 8.5 x 11. They have a sticky side to them so I just printed them off and carefully put them on the bottles trying not to get any air bubbles in them.

Here are the bottles:

that's pretty good. i just take a piece of painters tapeand label mine. great job though.

I did not realize Avery made large labels. I have used the smaller ones. Nice idea. I also use painters tape.

When you say you "roll it across the bar that scans", you do not lay it flat and try to scan the face or are you doing some trick to scan the label on a curved bottle so you get more of it.

my wife would say .... You got way to much time of your hands, but I personally think they are kinda cool.

i used to be crazy about labeling . but now i just use green 3 m tape and a sharpe..

Very nice! However, I prefer the "guess the product" method.

most of my spray bottles actually dont have names on them they wore of . but i go by color.. pink spray is my q/d purple is my under carrage dressing / blue is my wheel cleaner . so on and so forth .:xyxthumbs:

They are Avery Shipping Labels that are a full sheet. Model number 48165. They were $4.44 at Walmart for 10.

As for the rolling goes this is what I did; I got one of the bottles that already had the designed label on it and I placed it on the bar that lights up. This is the bar that actually scans the image.

I set my scanner to 600 DPI so I could have good resolution as the labels were 3000+ pixel and some were 47mb big. Since the DPI is so high the scanner bar also goes a little bit slower. So I just rolled the bottle with the same pace of the scanner bar to sort of "trick" the scanner that it was one flat image.

I hope you understand Im the MAN

I like them too, but yes, your wife would e very, very correct :dblthumb2:

OH, by the way, if anybody wants them I will give the Photoshop file to you or the JPG. Just ask :)

I do the same, except I use a water proof label that will not smear or run. They're almost a mylar type material.

OH! Even better. Do you have a link where to get them or what the product is?

I have a Brother Label Maker, it make about a 1X3 text label. Real easy to do and does the job.

The stuff is kinda hard to find, but its Avery 15516. It comes in 5.5 X 8.5 sheets... but once its stuck... ITS STUCK. Just make sure to choose the correct medium... the 15516 is for laser printers... not sure if there is one made by Avery for inkjet.

Ah, okay. I will look for those. Thanks for the info!

The Meguiar's 12 oz are 6.8 x 4.3
The Autogeek 8 oz are 6.3 x 5.05

I use the guess the product method also and if I can't tell from the scent i just taste a little :) !
