Hi,
Ok, my Souveran paste has been kept inside only in temperate conditions. But on the edges it is crumbling a little bit. :( None of it is hard, but it is annoying and hard to work with now.
Is this normal?
Wanted to know instead of asking AG....
Any feedback???
Thank you!

MIne is doing the exact same thing. I have only had it about 14 days and have yet to even use it. I wonder if there was a bad batch or something? Like you, I keep mine indoors, with all the rest of my paste waxes. All the rest of them are fine.

Itoman, please let me know what she has to say. PM me if you need. I don't want to bother her if it's nothing to worry about. Thanks.

Hi Lauren,

The wax is fine. That actually happens to be a normal trait of a paste wax with such a high percentage of Brazilian Ivory Carnauba Wax.

You can take a hair dryer to create some heat just for a few seconds to warm the wax and it will smooth right out. You can also use your fingers or an applicator to create the warmth needed to soften the wax and make it smooth.

Hope this helps!

Dwayne

fingers work well, I agree with Dwayne. Even a foamy running around the Souveran for a moment or two seems to draw enough heat to move back into a block of bliss.

Thank you both! Will do. Learn something new every day!!

after seeing the thread i went to the basement to check my 2 year old souveran..all is well here.

i keep mine in the gold pouch then return it back to its original box..a warm dryer should do the trick as stated above.. Ahhh the aroma of souveran..i actually forgot how good Souveran smells..

Life is too short to let it sit in a box, Joe! Go put it on your car and enjoy it!!
You would feel bad if it went bad anyway, right?

Lauren, even though your Souveran is fine, still feel free to send me a sample. :)

Hey there - check your pm box.
People here have been kind to me, so I have no problems doing the same. :)

(One day, I hope to have a stash like half of Kllr's!!! Hee hee hee:righton: )
Wait, is my husband around? He already is not happy with my stuff....even though his cars reap the benefits.....:o

i hear you little princess ;)

Whenever I buy a wax thats on sale, I tend to have that problem. Sometimes it looks like the wax shrank towards the middle of the can.

It doest bother me as I just work the cumbled pieces back onto the wax and it works just fine.
