Anyone ever tried these LED work lights

I saw these lights a menards the other day.

Anyone tried them?
How do they work?

I bought one a few months ago Chad. On a scale of 1-10 with ten being the best I rate them at a 6. The light put out was fair at best and the fact that they didn't put out a lot of heat I would call a plus. Over on Autopiaforums there is a thread of a member building a LED set-up that looks fairly promising. Don't think I can post a link but it should be easy to find.
 
And how do they compare to halogen lights.

I will not buy that particular light again but will continue my search for a good led set-up. The halogens blow these away on brightness but I do put these in the interior because they are cool to the touch where as you know the halogens are very warm.

Considering how Autopia and Autogeek are owned by the same company... I think it would be fine.

I know, surprising right! I thought they were competitor's for the longest time lol... until an order I made at autopia came with autogeek.net tape :laughing:

Surprise again!! There are two Autopia Forums and yes one is a competitor. Confused again??:doh:
