Anyone ever use this? 1z rubber care stick

It is a great product and lasts a long time, best part no mess. Your post reminded me that I need a replacement.

is that really appropriate to be asking about rubber sticks on AGO?
stay out of my threads kid.

is there anything you would compare it to? like said the couple people I've talked to about it say its here to stay in their arsenals lol, do you have any pictures of its results? thanks for the input scott

It leaves a matte fresh look on weatherstripping. If you over apply it then it leaves a little foam that can easily be wiped off before drying. Its last 6 months on a single application. The applicator is just like a shoe polish and perfect to control on most weatherstripping. Wurth also makes one but I liked the Einszett better.

I used it on all the seals - windows, doors, trunk, moon roof. I cleaned all of them with an APC and then applied this. If you don't it will turn the applicator black. I was using 303 prior to this and the pflege stift is easier to use and comes out just as good if not better.

I use it for the inner door/trunk/hood seals to condition them and keep them from drying out (Bout twice a year). I have not used it on exterior car trim so I don't know how it acts there. I think it is totally worth the price.

I used Perl a few times but it always seems that I'll get a little run off when it rains. Maybe I don't wipe the stripping down good enough? How does this stuff last in the rain? Does it run at all?

I been meaning to try this, have heard nothing but good about this. I recall a review by Todd about this couple of years ago too.

I like the product and have used it on door seals all around, trunk seals, exterior window seals, even my wiper blades. It darkens the rubber and I do believe the sales hype about refreshing old seals

A couple things I don't like. The applicator sponge fell off on the third car I used it on. Also the applicator kind of has to work with gravity to get fluid out, so sometimes it's a challenge to use in some spaces where you have no space to point the applicator down.

I love this stuff. The best way I can describe the results is that it returns seals to like-new appearance. No gloss, but that is the result I prefer. In addition to improving the appearance of seals, it also conditions them.

The nice thing about this is it's not greasy. I will agree with the comments that the applicator sponge will get quite dirty if you don't clean the seals beforehand, and also that because it gravity-feeds it can be hard to apply at some attitudes.

I myself like duragloss 531 for seals and all rubber. Check out cee dogs review. It's been on the rubber on the top of my t tops on my daily driver since October and still beads water like crazy and the rubber is still a nice dark black color.

It took the dried out and chalky rubber hood stops on my GTO back to looking like new with one application.

Damn it! Now I got to buy more stuff! That looks great!

Btw, you can take the applicator off and clean it.

No, but it can be run under warm water and then blotted dry. Supposedly this is used at BMW dealerships to treat wind noise from older aging seals. I cannot confirm this however. What I can say is it works quick and is easy to use. I use it on my convertible top seals where is seems to excel better than other products I have tried and doesn't attract more dirt.
