I know summer is already in full swing for most everyone already. But my summer class is will be over this thursday and I will have one month off before school starts up again.

We have a 8 day trip planned. We are going to drive up to Fresno to visit my cousins for two days. Not sure what we are going to do, but we have not been up their way in quite some time. So its going to be very fun. We are then going to drive down to Long Beach and stay for the night and then hop on a boat that will take us to catalina island. We will be there for 4 days.

Im so excited I cannot wait till saturday. Anyone else have anything planned, or has already done or is doing right now?
 
Our family went to Hilton Head, SC a couple of weeks ago. It was a nice vacation. It got pretty hot, but we had a pool, beach, and jacuzzi to relax in, so it was worth it.

Of course, it went too quickly, but that is why they call it a vacation.
 
Renting a beach house in Florida... Looking forward to exiting the house in my PJ's with coffee and ipad in hand to wake up.

Annual trip with the wife up North to tour the wineries and have fun in Traverse city.
 
Watching the NASCAR race in Watkins Glen in August. Then going up to Syracuse to a few museums and an indoor electric go cart track!!
 
The wife and I leave December 18th for a three week visit to Israel. She has wanted to go visit for the longest time, and what better time to be in the Holy Land than when the world ends on 12/21/12! LOL...

I was there the week of the 4th......hotter than the hubs of hell but had a blast !

Wife actually has us planned this weekend goingto the other side. (of Florida) So the kids can see the ocean instead of the Gulf. I call it a mini vacation as it is only 3 days.
 
Sturgis Mustang Rally - Labor Day Weekend! Get to spend it with my son who is Stationed at Ellworth AFB in Rapid City.
 
I've taken a few mini vacations, but my big plan now involves getting an apartment with the lady friend.

Went up to Door County, WI and I've taken a few trips to Chicago.
 
Hoping for a late summer "vacation" to Boot Camp in September. July and August will definitely be no vacation with depositions all over the country and trial at end of August. Can't wait to get back to AG for a refresher course.
 
Still got a week's paid vacation to use this year - I was thinking about going to Albany, Georgia and visiting Sherwood Baptist Church (the same church that the films Fireproof, Facing the Giants, and Courageous came out of). Definitely curious. It's about 6 hours or so I think from Knoxville to Albany, so it would be a nice little road trip. Haven't been to church in years either. Any members in or around Albany?
 
Went to Alaska. BEAUTIFUL! I would recomend this trip to everybody. Pure untouched beauty and wildlife.
 
I got back from Hawaii recently! Spent time on Maui, beautiful! My car was filthy when i got back though! :(
 
I'm going to San Diego in August. Can't wait to get out of the Illinois heat!
 
So far we've gone to DC for 3 days, Scituate MA and the obligatory trips to NJ and Philly to take my son to Monster Jam. Will probably end up at the Jersey shore at some point as my in-laws get a house every summer.
 
Took a cruise in April so no summer vacations for me, but looking forward to a couple long weekends hopefully before the end of the year.
