anyone on here only buy used cars?

I think I would look into new as others have stated on a car that I know that the aftermarket is heavily modified or that usually get driven hard because they are a performance based vehicle. Subaru STis come to mind.

used, most millionaires buy used to (The Millionaire Next Door). Something to think about.

BTW, I bought my Z in 2010 with 5k miles, it was 3 years old... still had some new car plastic in the cabin.. still smells new today. saved 15K off new and still has the bumper to bumper warranty today (ends in December)
 
Pre-owned, especially on higher end cars after new car depreciation. Check VINs and histories first. Get educated on pricing (Autotrader, Cargurus, Cars.com, etc). If you can get access to auction listing, you can really save but research is key as there are salvage vehicles (accidents) and flood zone vehicles out there.
 
I do. Vehicle depreciation is very real so it makes no logical sense to do otherwise IMO
