Anyone own a Kayak

Just looking to what product everyone uses to protect a plastic kayak. Read alot about a product from Aerospace 303.

Any ole wax, sealant here. I don't go "overboard" cause it's not gonna shine anyway

I think most people in the industry would tell you they use 303. it tends to be a standard.

When you say 'plastic', are you referring to a 'roto-molded' plastic or fiberglass kayak?

It's the roto mold type. Gonna stick with the 303 as it seems the norm.

I've never worked on a plastic Kayak before but I would think a product like Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant would work. It's a great product for exterior plastic trim.

I've been using 303 myself. I actually bought it at a local marine supply store along with some collinite 845.

I can't really comment on the longevity of the 303 though as I store the yak indoors most of the time.
