A lot of people here use AutoCad. I'd really like to see how that stuff works.

AutoCad, Solidworks, Unigraphics are the three I use now. Not a power user by any means but I can hold my own......:props:

not sure if i'll ever get my hands on a copy of solidworks. been using the program as a toy to kill some time when the weather is bad, or like this morning when i couldnt sleep, i made a master blaster.

just waiting for that lotto ticket to hit so things i layout in the program can become a reality.

Yep! :)

Been using mainly Pro/E for about 12 years, sounds like my company is switching to Solidworks though and I've have a seat of it on my work PC for a while now. Over the years and the various companies I've worked for I've also used AutoCAD/Mechanical Desktop, Anvil, and Unigraphics. We also looked at CATIA a few year ago, which I really liked, but it was not a good fit for our company.

Autocad, Pro D, and Pro E here. Familiar with most Autodesk products.

I need to play with Sketch Up, seems like its pretty easy to use and you can make some neat stuff rather easy.

I have used AutoCad in school from 7th up to 9th grade. I completely forget how to use it now though. Was a very neat program if you know how to use it.

I used to dabble a bit with AutoCAD and Mechanical Desktop back in the day.... but it's been a few years. If I remember right the last project I did for a class was a 3D model of a film SLR camera....

Yea I use autocad, solidworks, pro e, unigraphix, and ansys. I like ansys for simulation but solidworks is my favorite for actually modeling things. I'll see if I can get a picture up of a rear upright/knuckle that I just designed
