Kozak Auto Drywash cloth?

I was detailing the Porsche that is in my avatar a few weeks ago and found a package of these under the passenger seat.

It was a fiber cloth that seems to be pretty soft, but still kind of rough. I'd never seen them before and was wondering if anyone here has.

I never knew AG sold them...I thought I browsed every section of the AG store...apparently I've missed some pages.

Wow, does anybody use these? Is it like a super fine dusting towel with an impregnated lubricant/glaze?

These things have been around since the early 1920's and many car manufactures had a private label version with their name on it for their brand of automobile.

It would be safe to say they are the company that made dry washing, or at least cleaning without water popular and they did it before any of us were born!

Here's the link to their history page...

Cool story Mike, thanks for the share. Now I think I want a camel on my truck.

Thanks Mike! This was the first time I had ever seen them so had to ask. Of course if I had just browsed the store further I would have found them....

Is there anything Mike doesn't know about detailing products?

How does the KozaK compare to the California Car Duster? They seem like very similar products.

^I have the same question!!

folks simply couldn’t believe that a completely dry cloth could effectively wash a car – without doing any damage to the paint!

I'd really love to hear how effective and safe it actually is! :)

Looks like they can't make fun of you anymore :nomore:

BTW...This product looks like a sack of carpet remnants :)

It feels like carpet remnants too. Could be that those particular ones are just old?!

Those are the kozak cloths - works great - First bought one from my porsche dealer about 10 years ago - still use them on my muscle car collection - they work great and do not scratch - remarkably! Just tried their new wax and it works great too.

Ive used them for 30 years, and they do work great , but not on sticky dirt like tree sap.
