Anyone still use 845?

Joe:

Yeah, it will leave a residue on trim. It takes a day or two to show up though. Weird, right?

I still have my original bottle of 845 from 2014. It seems as good as the day I bought it.

(Just to note, it has always lived indoors and has never been subjected to freezing temps or insane heat.)
Well now I'm going to have to check that trim again to see if it has reappeared.

If you keep the trim maintained with a good product, it is no big deal to remove IMO.

But IME, you will see where you hit the trim, Dave.

Thank you for the reply. If I were to accidentally get some on my black trim, can I remove it using Mckees 37 Tire and Rubber Rejuvenator or should I buy a dedicated wax removal product? Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Never used the McKee's product, so I cannot comment on that.

What I use is a little diluted APC and a toothbrush. I will then reapply what ever trim sealant I am using to that area.

I just checked, found two tiny little spots, where I hadn't noticed while buffing the whole car. The spots I'd previously wiped off didn't return. All the black trim had been treated with Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gel at the beginning of April.
