Anyone tried the new headlight kits?

Umm, hello

My question?
Sorry Ric, it wouldn't go through earlier

It's my ex now and was turned in Feb of 2019 but at that point it was 2 yrs old and going strong, looked like day 1

Klasse Act did a hell of a job on those lights. At $30 it’s a no brainer to try. BTW, what a great color red that was.

Thank you!

For most headlights out there this kit WILL work because these headlights were dry to the touch, flakey and that weird pattern you see on the bad ones. For $30 and a little bit of your time I'd think EVERYONE would atleast try and not just spend alot of money on new housings, I mean we're Geeks, right

I'll be doing some horrible Mazda CX-7 lights next weekend. I feel like I used some of my clear from a new Griot's Garage kit, good thing I've got a fresh can of Mequiars headlight spray, hope it's ok

Not sure if there are multiple sprays out there by Meguiars, but the OTC kit I used a couple years ago did not impress me. I ended up buying the Wolfgang kit because of it.

Wet sanded 1000-3000 grit, polished back with Rolite Medium and Fine Polishes and then sealed up with 2 layers of Meg's Headlight Coating Spray. Slightly foggy but it's on the inside plastic so not much to be done.

When did you buy the headlight coating?

The one I purchased about 4-ish years ago sprayed on nicely, but developed orange peel as it dried. I also found it only prevented yellowing for about 3 months whereas using the Wolfgang Plastik Sealant would least more than six months. I'm sure there are other products which last much longer.

few months back. I tend to keep 2 cans on hand at all times. Just ordered one this morning in fact. No issues with yellowing, etc.
