anyone try 3m paint defender spray?

I was looking into it and think i'm going to try it out, specifically on rocker panels and side mirrors.
 
Yup, dries perfect. Not only does it pass the 5 foot test, but in reality it passes the 5 inch test, other than my masking line. ( I didn't remove the tape for a minute, if I had taken it off in 30 seconds it wouldn't be visible at all)

Very clear, no discernible orange peel, rubbery feel. Just seems a bit thin. 3M claims it has 80% of the protection of traditional clear bra film but based on my non-professional opinion I'd say maybe 30% protection of film. If you're just looking to add something this will work, but I wouldn't use it to protect my front bumper or hood. Maybe the rear bumper or side skirts/rocker panels.

Oh, and it applies just like the 3M videos. I tested it on a the pop up headlight of my Miata and it peels off relatively easily to.
