I saw a YouTube video this morning for this product and wanted to see if anyone has tried it and what they thought? It looks like an alternative to claying.

I saw that video and another on a FB page. Looks as two different companys are about to bring thease to market. Will have to see if they happen to be on AG's radar anytime soon.

interesting! Im assuming the the towel actually lifts off the contaminate? If so, will the contaminate come out with just a wash?

So what is that, a piece of wetsuit? Is it actually available anywhere? I only saw Joe Fernandez using a pad on a PC, those are for sale.

The pad Joe used on Detail TV is made by one of the companys bringing out the towel. Not much info seems to be available at the moment. The towel in the video on FB was 12x12 and seemed foldable as a microfiber might be. Things for detailing are changing quickly every day. It takes a score card to tell the real deal from the snake oil. Too early to tell on this .

David Sylican from Innovative detailing and I believe John Kleven From Metropolitan Detailing are selling them. :xyxthumbs:

Yeah, and I'm putting mine in a wet suit.

I can't find no place to buy that towel, BTW. Boy you guys are good, I don't even know what it is and I want it. Are you listening Nick/Meghan/Max?

I think it's a piece of wetsuit, and I'm sticking to it.

I haven't obtained enough info to make a decision on what its made of or how it works.Like I said its a interesting concept that I would like to try out. Seems a couple of detailers and vendors are just now announcing the availability of these. The pad company SMArnold is one and the other from Nanoskin. I would be suprised if AG dosen't have someone looking into these already. Just my 2 cents.

Thats one of the videos I mentioned and the other one was on FB. Both were about the same just from different sources.

Wait a minnit...I just looked at that vid more closely...it just looks like some of that Elastrofoam material glued to a regular MF...not that it's not a good idea, I was just hoping for a piece of wetsuit...too much watching Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Flipper, I guess...

ADS is selling another version of this...priced at $60. eek. I'm curious of the longevity of it versus the cost.
