Im curious if anyone here have ever tried CG Jetseal 109...

Im going to be apply sealant on my car today... and im looking for feedbacks on this product...

I've used it on 3 of my cars so far. All 3 were a metal flake from Mazda and it really made them pop.

Easy on, easy off. Seems to have a decent life to it when left in the elements. I normally top it with Black Light or Butterwax.

One of the easiest to apply, and long lasting sealants I've ever tried. Top it with Pete's 53 for even more "pop"....

Easy on / easy off... Completly sucks in durability... One of the biggest let downs as I had high hopes for it considering the price.

It's a good product. I forget the cure time, but it will last significantly longer if you let cure for at least 8 hours.

CG claims cure time is less within an hour o.O
And some people said durability is pretty good lol.

Since im using mostly CG chemicals for my detailing today... just thought i'd use their sealant, instead of WG DGPS

Looks good, and easy to use, durability is lacking...A LOT. There are much better sealants out there for the price.

Hello Ivan!

What other sealants do you have on hand?

i completely agree. this was so over-hyped a few years ago. it doesn't hold a candle to DG 105 IMO.

Hello Ivan!

Ivan, I call it taking my time and doing it right!! :props:

If you're under no time constraints then take all the time you need, there's no sense rushing....:dblthumb2:

Hhaha yes just a little hot inside my garage lol...

But anyways... im tired of using the Flex 3401... is a bit heavy and is hard to control it... so im finish the rest with DA...

i notice if i hold on to the PC too hard the machine is not turning but vibrating o.o? so does that mean im using too much force?

I have used it. Good shine okay protection.

I'm with you Jason. Easy to use but lousy durability when compared to others. Cough ---Duragloss---Cough.

I've used it an had excellent results with it, I put two coats letting it cure for about 2hrs inbetween each application. I then topped it with Pete's 53 an it really made my car POP. I have never used Duragloss so I can't speak on that product.

Seems to be the general feeling, with which I totally agree. It lasted maybe 2 weeks on a DD kept outside that was properly prepped. The look was decent but the lousy protection and the price make it a no go for me personally. I still have a 16 oz bottle almost full. Oh well.

Some CG stuff rocks, and a lot leaves me let down. I spent a bunch of money once on CG stuff after going to their W/H and had buyers remorse after using some of the stuff I bought. Live and learn.

Used to use 109 but replaced with other products as the durability was on the outside 2 maybe 3 months on a garaged and properly cared for car. Cars left out or on boats it was maybe 6 to 8 weeks tops. Looks to me was standard sealant look nothing bad nothing that said wow either.

If you want CG I have heard very nice things about the V7 + blacklight combo on dark colors or to make flake pop but nothing on their durability just the looks and wow factor. I have quite a few CG products but not sealants, overall good values on some things.
