Anyone using google AdWords?

Seems pretty cool. Thinking about using it. I'm waiting for my pin to come in the mail for google places before I set up adwords.

Anyone use this and find themselves getting more business?
 
I use it and it definitely gets me more business. Just make sure you dont set your click per cost to high or you will blow some cash. Also make sure its not too low or it will never be relevant. Also, i use one campaign for auto detailing and another for boat detailing. I picked up a $130 interior detail through adwords just yesterday, it was a fleet vehicle and they needed it done asap.
 
I figured 25 cents a click and a max of 2 or 3 dollars a day, I figure one of those clicks would end up paying off.
 
25 cents will probably not get you any results. If you are willing to spend $2 a day i wpuld set that as my max bid and daily budget. This will enable more people to see the ad on the 1st page instead of page 10 which no one looks at. Google mobile detailing florence sc and you will see what i mean.
 
Not to hijack the thread, but....

ProMoDe: I have to ask where you got your business card done? There is a Mobil detailer around here and his card is identical other than the name and contact info....

Vista Print. It's one of their pre-made cards.

If my bid and budget are the same then all it would take was 1 click and my ad would dissapear. My budget would be spent and nothing would appear agan until the next day.

Yeah, it's pretty generic but i got shirts, car magnets, polo shirts and some other stuff for a really good price. Probably get some custom ones next time after i have a logo designed.
