I strongly recommend two Mother's products in particular:
Mother's Reflections Car Wax: it's labelled as a wax but is in fact a synthetic sealant. It leaves a look similar to NXT, but I prefer Reflections--wet, reflective but not candy-coated. Not only is Reflections better priced than NXT, but it's easier to use. I've never experienced streaking with it, nor have I read on the net any complaints about streaking. It is not a finicky product--let it haze and wipe off. I have not tested the durability of Reflections, but I have gotten at least two months from one coat.
Mother's Refections Tire Care: this is my favorite tire tressing. It leaves a low-gloss satin look--a touch of sheen but not too much. It's easy to apply. I spray it on an Eagle One foam applicator. I then proceed to dress each tire. I then move the car to touch up the bald spot. Using the same applicator I then gently wipe around the tire to remove any excess. I have never experienced any sling. It seems to last as long as any other water-based dressing I have used. And RTC is competitively priced.
