Anyone want a really nice Pioneer CD player?

I actually bought this Pioneer DEH-P880PRS for my truck the other day. I put it in and ended up getting a speeding ticket almost the same day. So this has to go to pay for another damn ticket.

Here are some specs.

This thing has been used for a total of 2hrs. I hooked up the Harness and soldered some connections, but other than that, everything is new. It's got all the stuff with it still in the plastic. The harness has been cleaned up so it's new.

This unit is the ultimate for someone serious about sound. It has a microphone that adjusts the EQ and Time Alignment for YOUR truck. All sorts of controls and stuff. Its super super cool looking and has everything someone could want for controls. It also has one of the strongest internal amps in the industry, it will drive speakers at almost the same level as some smaller amps.


Also I have the IPOD controller that goes with this. It has never been used, just hooked up. Brand New. Everything is still in the box.

I paid $390 for this unit with the ipod controller. I will be asking $340 shipped. I will include a Tundra Harness and Dash Kit with that price.
 
Down to $325 shipped or $290 shipped for just the h/u.
 
how about $300 shipped for this unit and the ipod controller.
 
Put it on Ebay, it will go fast there!
And slow down! :p
 
Yeah, I tried to put it on ebay, but I cant figure out that dang paypal thing. I am just worried that I will have it sold and then cant get any money for it b/c my paypal wont work.

Yeah, I drive really slow now. After 3 tickets in my life and $1100 in lawyer fees, it's a stupid waste of money.

Man, that is one nice head unit! How about Craigslist?
 
Ehh, put it on there last week.

It's a super super super nice h/u with all the controlls you could ask for. It's actually pioneers 2nd nicest cd player with the first one being $1100. I really need somebody to take this thing away.
 
That seems sort of senseless to me. You just purchased it, now you have to pay a speeding ticket, so you're going to sell it, pay the speeding ticket, then buy another head unit in some time later. You are now losing on both ends. There has to be a smarter financial way to pay this speeding ticket then selling a piece of electronics you just purchased. Unless you got this thing for like ultra cheap and you are actually making money on it.

have the receipt? Take it back to the store. Put it all neatly in the box and return it, say you bought the wrong one, or it won't fit.... I dunno...
 
Ehh, I bought it online from a place with a no-refund policy. Thats what you get for trying to save about $100, and buying it from there is going to end up costing me $100.

Hmmm..... Tex, a person's integrity isn't worth the price of a story. If the store has a liberal return policy that's a different matter all together. ;)
 
I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you go to pay your ticket, bring it with you. Ask the judge if he/she would take it instead of cash....LOL

ok, that was just plain dumb on my behalf, sorry...haha
