Anyone want to see what a " dipped " car looks like nowadays?

I think the dipped car seems to look pretty good from the photo.

What's up with "#bitches DM THE NUDES" on the windshield?

To save you bunches of googling, this literally means "pretty ladies, send a message to me with a picture of you nude" to @stancedmisiano (presumably via Twitter) [DM=Direct Message]

Don't think I will ever understand how men think women will respond when you call them #bitches. :shrug

I need some of this dip....how much would a DIY job cost for supplies?

Yeahhhhhhh.... I'll take the black one, for both look and the ability to change it up when I want a new LSP. (Not to mention the cost!) Plus it's about as 'stanced' as I care to be. ;) Whilst the other one might be a kewl cruise-in/show type ride... I'd never make it to the highway in that bucking bronco! :D (Come to think of it.... getting out of my driveway would be a challenge!)

I used to get cars like that when I had my flatbed towing business and the NOPI show would come to Atlanta Motor Speedway. They'd get down there and burn something up, blow something up, break an axle, trash the tires or wheels etc. doing silly stuff and I'd have to go tow them to the dealerships. Always required removing AT LEAST the front bumper cover, (and quite often the back as well).

So are we advertising a product? :dunno:

Maybe we need something like #youngboysneedtogrowabrain or #learntorespectwomen or #didyomommaraiseyoulikethat

Rather than send me your nude photos!

Pardon my :hijacked:
Speaking of NOPI, the very last one is Sept 18-20th @ Atlanta Dragway. You going? I'm torn. I want to go, but they won't have drag races. An event at a dragstrip, the very last one, with no drag races.

Where can I get the windshield stickers. I like having my field of vision obstructed when I'm driving. Distracts me from my phone.

Website hasn't been updated yet. I was literally the first installer to get my hands on this stuff.
That's kind of a 'dippy' excuse, IMO.

A little housekeeping would have
kept your Name from being associated/"branded"
with what could be considered misleading
claims...in direct violation of the FTC
Guidelines.

BTW:
There used to be a weekly TV show
whose theme song was: "Branded"...

"Branded, scorned as the one who ran.
What do you do when you're branded,
and you know you're a man.

Wherever you go, for the rest of your life:
You must prove, you're a man".

:)

That does seem more than a bit strange dontcha' think?:dunno:
Are they supposed to go jogging down the ¼ mile? Pushing boiled eggs perhaps?

WHO THOUGHT THAT UP?

I mean, amongst the ricer world there are LOTS of guys (and gals for that matter) that'll more than happy to spool up a turbo (or twins for that matter) and take a stroll down the track! ;)

FWIW, Most of what I'd end up towing from the show would be where they'd been popping off their turbo in the parking lot just to hear the waste gate whistle and ended up bending a rod, valve, etc. With the occasional toasted clutch, or broken axle shaft of course (remembering that most are FWD vehicles).

From my understanding the founder passed away a few months ago. The family doesn't want to pay the 10K to hold the drags. Sooooo, that's where it stands right now. I guess they hope to cash in on it being the last one and a lot of people showing up because of that fact.

Oddly enough, I ended up at this show for the weekend. There have been tons of tuners running sideways in the drift area. The drag racing really is gone.

Croftgate GA has a booth and some tire shine company does as well. Pretty decent turnout for missing the drags.

Plastidip industry has changed immensely the past couple years. It's no longer just matte colors of different variety. There's pearls and flakes and all sorts of combination. This big hype is that it's customizable and not permanent if you choose to change you're decision. I had an 1999 528 plastidipped matte white myself, it's looked great and got lots of compliments

Where any of these "Compliments" from an AGO Level Player

Plastidip is for High Schoolers

Looks awful every time, no matter how many compliments you got at the drive-thru

Hey...I am not making this up...a tree in my backyard has an exposed root about 12" long. Little sprouts pop up making it look like I have weeds near the tree. Ya know how I resolved this???? I "plasti-dip'd" the root. I'm not kidding. Works great at preventing those little boogers from popping up. I am going to plasti-dip my dog tomorrow!
