Anything to help these wheels?

When I purchased my truck I don't think the wheel barrels had ever been cleaned. So now i'm stuck with this inside them.

I've used one OTC wheel cleaner to do the initial cleaning since they were really bad and I didn't want to waste a bunch of my Uber wheel cleaner, then followed with Uber and Iron-x.
So all in all i've used one OTC wheel cleaner once, Uber cleaner twice, and Iron-x once.
None of those have touched this.

Do I need some wheel brightener?

The wheels are clearcoated aluminum.

Most likely pitting. Maybe sand, prime and paint.

Just curious if you have tried a clay bar? Just tear a small chunk off so you don't waste the whole thing.

Looks like tar, maybe try Tar-X

I haven't tried clay.
I did the face but I didn't want to ruin my clay trying to get that off.
I will look into the Tar-x and Malco brake off.
