Apartment Dwellers

Or, you can do what I did. I live in a townhouse with a garage but no hose hook-ups. I tee'd a hose fitting off the washer, the laundry room is near the garage door.

So now all the neighbors see me using a hose and a pressure washer and ask me "where did you find the hose spigot". I tell them its a special option that used to be in the lease. Haha.

Having my own garage has been a blessing. Have a tank full of water. Pressure wash at home when needed, but most of the time do rinseless washes. It took some planning but having a garage while living in a complex makes a huge difference.

This

I have lived in my apt for 8 months and the reason i choose this apt complex is because every apt has a one car garage that is seperated from your neighbors garages and has access straight to your apt. So basically its like a small house.

my GF parks in garage though so my car is parked outside in our driveway.

I thought about doing something like this in my apt. But i would have to use the water heater(because its in the garage) and im not good at plumbing at all. My uncle use to be a master plumber, so im sure he could do it but my GF is worried (The lease is in her name) and she doesnt want something to happen and it go against her.

Im sure my neighbors would report me anyway or the maintenance crew would see me and report me.
