I've been using the DP interior cleaner for quite a while now. I recently ran out and decided to dilute some Megs APC+ to 10:1 and it worked very well. By having the ability to dilute the Megs APC+ to 10:1, the DP interior cleaner would cost $400 for the same amount of cleaner, as it costs $40/gal, where as the APC+ costs $14/gal and can dilute 10:1. Does anyone else use an APC to clean interior and are there any surfaces where you would not recommend using an APC?

It has worked well on all surfaces I have ever tried it on. A great APC for sure.

Have had no issues with Megs APC on anything. I now use Opt Power Clean, 5:1.

Meguiar's APC+ 10:1 is awesome for interior cleanings. Cleans the entire interior, except for glass of course.

You could probably go 10:1 (or 20:1) with the Optimum and not have any issues for routine light cleaning. I have both (bought a gallon..about a gallon more than I really need) so I use Meg's for just light interior and the Optimum on tires, wells, etc.

I used APC+ on the interior, and was unsatisfied some times with the finish it left. I then tried the DP Total Interior Cleaner, and love it.
You are right about the price though - the APC+ is much more affordable than the DP TIC. But, the customer will cover it for you.

I use Megs APC for everything. Carpet and upholstery in the car and home. I have even used it on clothes to get out the real tough oil and grease stains.

I use APC+ 10:1 on the interior and works great....I use it 4:1 on the carpets floor mats and upholstry.

Another plus vote for Meguiar's APC. 10:1 for the majority of interior, 4:1 for the really tough stuff. I ALWAYS have two bottles for the two cleaning levels in my bag.

Yep, I'm with VR8 (in person here in Lynchburg AND in his opinion on Meg's APC) on this one. Then we follow it up with a light covering of Meg's Hyper Dressing and that definitely sets up a customer's car nicely.

I also have DP interior cleaner and absolutely love the stuff. :xyxthumbs:

That being said I am also currently using Megs APC plus mixed at 10:1 (a little closer to 8:1) for my interior as well.

I like the Megs APC for the value and it does clean well even though I have a personal preference for the DP. I will eventually stick with the Megs APC for value and you do not have to be shy about spraying the interior with it more frequently because of the value therefore there should be less dirt building, etc. :buffing:

I have started using DP TIC and it sends me into a spasm when ever it's airborne... I cough like an asthmatic that just sniffed bleach and I do not have asthma. I am hoping quickly to finish up this bottle and move onto another product. So I need to pick either APC or Opt Power clean myself
