Going to running out of D101 APC. I want to try something new, there are so many choices out there. What are everyone's recommendations?

My favorite continues to be Megs D108. I use it in several dilutions for everything...and i mean EVERYTHING! It's relatively cost effective too at 19.99/gallon.

I also wanted to try something new and bought a gallon of McKee's High Intensity APC. I'm glad I still have a full gallon of Megs APC because I don't think it comes close to being as good.

What makes you want to move away from D101? I have D101 and D108, so far for me I haven't found anything that D101 10:1 can't handle. Just recently broke out the D108 on my lawnmower also at 10:1 it was amazing. What are you trying to do with the APC? Are you a pro or do it for a hobby?

Why not just stick with Meguiar's? If it's not broken, don't fix it.

megs d101, very versatile and inexpensive as well..

main reason for going away from 101 is the smell. I'm looking for an apc that can do everything. Including pad cleaning etc.

Quick observation. When I use Meguiar's D101 and D108 it burns my throat and sometimes takes away my breath, so I have to walk away quickly after spraying. What helps with this, beyond a respirator, is using a foaming sprayer.

The "smell" of the products is experienced, in part, because of the atomized particulate that flies in all directions after one or more pulls off the trigger. A foaming sprayer works to reduce the airborne particulate by concentrating the output into, you guessed it, a concentrated shot of foam.

More product is expended when using a foaming sprayer, but in my experience it is worth it in some situations. D101 and D108 have great dilution ratios and are inexpensive for a gallon of concentrate.

Here's a link to the foam sprayer on Auto Geek. I can't find on Auto Geek the one I use. It looks like it was replaced with this.

Same here. I have 101 and 108, great value and works as good or better than anything I have tried at any price. Very versatile products. I do use blackfire or griots interior cleaner on occasion also and they are good on interior stuff.

I should have put in the original post that one of the things i am looking for the apc to do is cloth seats, mats and such. Most of the APC's that I have seen are high foaming. which from what i read is bad for carpet of cloth seats.

Try CG invincible it's also a good degreaser and the smell doesn't effect your sinuses
