Where's my Kit car wash.......that'll teach ya!

Welcome back detailgod;)
hahah that would be mean, go pour some KIT soap on his car, ouch!:D

I wasn't going to reply to your thread because you did not owe me an apology.
The reason that I'm replying is simply to say that everything that I've read from everyone was handled very classy. You're right up there at the top Detailgod.

I did see the post but was not offended...guess 8 yrs in the miltary will do that. Kudos for accepting your error and asking for an apology. Well DOne!

I cannot stand how everyone in this country is so incredibly easily offended. Frankly, I make it a point at work to try and offend as many people, just to get a rise out of them.

People seriously need to toughen up a little bit.

I'll never forget about the time when I was at Jason's Deli around Christmas time and they had written the words "Merry Christmas" in a ton of different languages. This women went up the manager and told her she was offended that it wasn't written in her language. I thought to myself "ehrm, it's right there in English you stupid bat" but apparantly she was looking for the translation in Italian or something. HELLO YOU IDIOT you're an American, not an Italian. That really rubbed me the wrong way. She ended up getting a free lunch out of it, ARGH!!!

And what's up with not being able to say Merry Christmas these days? ARGH now I'm just upset...

you should have seen what i posted on autopia site. it affended someone on there and they reported me . if you read what i posted you would not believe that it affended someone. i bet if i said it here no one would care and they probably would get a kick out of it . you cant say anything anymore in this country with out someone getting bent out of shape. as a matter of fact when the modirater p/md me even he said id didnt affend him but it did somoone else so he had to tell me . he was cool about it though. crazy word we live in

Way to stand up and take responsibility for your actions. :applause: I was not offended by your post and actually read it. Glad your still here and don't stress it. We all make decisions lacking good judgement!

I do think we live in a time of complainers and whiners, but in this instance it would have been nice to see a warning about the word being used. I hate when I get an email and it looks legit and its all about sex, drugs, or some other spam crap.
But on the flip side, we do have to consider sometimes that with the ever expanding global market, different cultures use words that are spelled the same yet differ in meanings.

Merry Christmas is being weened out and happy holidays is beinf used because of people who don't like god or what Christmas stand for. I think it's stupid and when people tell me happy holidays I tell them Merry Christmas to you too. Too many people are looking for things to cry about, and I make sure to give them something to cry about :righton:.

last year at christmas time my cousin wanted to dress up as santa for his twins 2nd grade class. he was told he could not cause it might be offensive to someone of a different culture. well that same day his boys came home with hannaka(not sure how to spell it) stuff. santa is not a religous figure.
