Applying Coating with TORCH? What's the purpose?

clips of a showing a guy using TORCH in the process of coating a brand new Volkswagen Touareg (at least that's what the original poster said he is doing), does anyone know the purpose of this? or he's just trying to mess up the paintFeed back please

I haven't watched the videos and I know how important it is to be open to new ideas...

That said... this would seem to be a case of taking something very simple and overcomplicating it.


Or another way of saying this would be to take the simple practice of washing and waxing a car and turning it into Rocket Science.

Can't you use heat to correct some clear coat issues? I think I remember something about that.

IMO:
A person needs a whole bunch of
(good)Luck, when trying to re-flow
cured isocyanate-based paints.
