Applying Opti-Coat to Trim Pieces

Hey guys, I Opti-Coated my car but am buying a new grill and some other trim pieces. How would you guys go about applying Opti-Coat to these pieces because of the intricate design? Just the standard foam pad and just try to get it the best I can? Spray gun is not an option here, just conventional methods.

OC them by hand with a foam applicator pad before you install the new pieces on the car. What other method did you have in mind?

Foam pad is what I was thinking, I just wasnt sure if anyone had any other tips for getting in those grooves.

Foam swabs, finger pocket, airbrush will all do well. Rasky could tell you the airbrush settings.

What about using the foam swaps used for paint, that you can easily find at a local hardware store?

Something like this but smaller:

I ended up using those foam makeup applicators that are wedge shaped since I had them laying around.

An airbrush works great but you will use noticeably more product. It was also a pain getting it dialed in and it will likely vary between brushes. Mine is out of commission right now as some OC must have cured inside and it needs to be disassembled and cleaned. I run it at 40psi.
